Ouellette Marketing and Design is proudly Métis.
Our logo incorporates two important Métis symbols: the infinity sign and the colours of the sash. The infinity symbol reflects the enduring strength and continuity of Métis culture, while the sash represents identity, connection, and resilience. The interconnection of the two circles signifies the collaborative relationship between our clients and our services, highlighting our commitment to partnership and shared success.
Why the cat?
You may have seen Minoosh (which means “cat” in Southern Michif) on our website, vehicle, marketing materials, and social media. She is the official mascot of Ouellette Marketing and Design.
I created Minoosh 25 years ago—simply because I liked her! Over the years, she has evolved and always been by my side through my creative endeavours, now she has truly found her purpose. She represents the qualities we value most at OMD: simplicity, care, creativity, and curiosity.
